RPE 35 External Safety Barrier
Specification
The Realit® RPE 35 external safety barrier is a transparent screen (infill) fastened to lightweight profiles. There is also a vertical grid option available if it is required by the architectural project. The system does not affect the appearance of the facade, enhances the protective properties of its elements and does not block the field of vision. It is suitable for windows with different geometrical characteristics, meets the current market requirements in terms of fabrication technology, comfort and safety, and blends seamlessly with any construction projects.
- The standard dimensions of the RPE 35 external barrier are 1,500 x 900 mm. The system can also be integrated with large windows as the assembly width can be greater than 1.5 m. In addition to standard protective glass and grid options, it is also possible to assemble railings on brackets. This solution contributes to an aesthetically pleasing and finished look of the system and highlights the uniqueness of the facade.
- The RPE 35 system is versatile as it enables the usage of different infills made from multilayered and hardened glass (8 to 16 mm thick). The height of up to 1,100 mm enables extra wind protection.
- The system is easy to assemble which helps reduce the commissioning time and costs of handling expensive claims during fabrication and installation.
- The RPE 35 system can be attached to the window frame either directly or with an angle bracket.
- The Realit® external safety barriers do not have any visible fasteners or projecting elements making it possible to preserve the original appearance of the window. If the system is filled with a vertical grid instead of a translucent screen, the distance between the vertical elements (tubes) in the grid should be up to 110 mm.
- The elements of the system can be powder coated in any RAL colour or covered with an anodized coating.
- The RPE 35 window barrier has different options and can be integrated with any of the Realit® architectural systems.
- The RPE 35 system was designed to help protect human life, so it complies with the GOST R 56926-2016 standard setting the requirements for translucent structures in residential buildings.
