Winter is Coming. Meet the RW 64 and RW 71 Realit Insulated Systems

Every year, the issue of thermal insulation of premises becomes more urgent as winter is coming. Modern methods and technologies of fabrication of Realit® window and facade assemblies ensure their excellent heat-saving properties, high variability, and excellent design at an affordable price.

The characteristics of the RW 64 window and door system correspond to class A in terms of wind load resistance and meet the necessary soundproof and water tightness requirements. The EPDM gaskets used in the system have been tested by the Scientific Research Institute of Construction Physics and have necessary certificates confirming their efficiency in cold climatic conditions. The basic dimensions of the system are 64 mm for the frame and 72 mm for the vent. It is based on a combination of two aluminium profiles interconnected with a polyamide thermal break with a width of 20 mm in doors and 27 mm in windows. The structures in this system use three sealing circuits.

The RW 71 window and doors system is the Realit® system with the maximum thermal insulation. It is manufactured per strict requirements in this area and ensures maximum comfort in the premise. The basic dimensions of the system are 71 mm for the frame and 79 mm for the vent. The assemblies can be filled with either glass units or sandwich panels with thickness ranging from 12 to 62 mm. The custom-designed EPDM gaskets with “whiskers” substantially reduce thermal losses and prevent draughts.

6 reasons to choose the insulated Realit® architectural systems:

① Three sealing circuits

The system featuring three sealing circuits enables a reliable sealing of the vent and frame junction and thus helps reduce the ingress of noise and cold to the premise.

② Special polyamide thermal bridge

The custom-shaped thermal bridge used in the insulated Realit RW 71 system enhances thermophysical properties of windows and doors.

③ Multi-chamber central gasket

The multi-chamber central EPDM gasket ensures superb tightness and thermal insulation.

④ Multi-chamber thermal bridge in the vent

The multi-chamber polyamide thermal bridge provides for excellent water and dust protection of glass units and securely defends the premise against cold in frosty winter.

⑤ Special EPDM gaskets

The EPDM gaskets with “whiskers” designed by the Engineering Centre substantially reduce thermal losses and prevent draughts.

⑥ Foamed polyamide thermal break

The custom-shaped foamed polyamide thermal break for the RF 50 facade helps reduce thermal losses by 50% as compared to polyvinylchloride thermal breaks. In the RW 71 window system, this element enables the achievement of specified characteristics of the facade structure at a lesser cost.

Architectural systems built from the Realit insulated profiles comply with strict thermal insulation requirements; they are resistant to mechanical damage and adverse environmental effects. These systems can substantially reduce heating costs in the cold season and contribute to comfort in the residential premise.
